Dual STEM Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Information Technology Leadership

Earn two graduate degrees in one concise program. Combine the strength of the internationally-ranked Walsh Master of Business Administration (MBA) with the depth of a Master of Science in Information Technology Leadership (MSITL). The program is designed to provide the skills, expertise, and confidence to strategically manage IT change and innovation and lead at the enterprise level.

Courses are offered online or in our innovative hybrid format, combining online instruction with time in a dynamic classroom setting. Selected courses will require on ground attendance while others will be available entirely online.

Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE/CD)

Admission Requirements

If you are an IT professional and have any of the following certifications, you will be eligible for advanced standing course credit in corresponding MBA/MSITL courses:

  • Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

In order to be admitted to the MBA/MSITL program, an applicant must have the following

  • Possess an undergraduate degree or higher from a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and U.S. Department of Education (USDE), www.chea.org. Credits completed outside of the United States must be evaluated by an agency that is a member of NACES (www.naces.org).
  • A cumulative grade point average of a 2.750 or better on a 4.000 scale.
  • Individuals with a cumulative grade point average lower than 2.750, but not below 2.000, will be considered for provisional admission.
  • A recommended minimum of two years professional work experience, or an undergraduate degree in a computer-related field.
  • No GMAT or GRE required.
