Walsh College Announces Partnership with the SBAM Foundation
TROY, MI — Walsh College is excited to announce a new partnership with the SBAM Foundation via the Small Business Support Hub Grant Program. Walsh College is an SBAM Foundation Hub Partner and Grant Program recipient.
The Small Business Support Hub Grant Program (SBSH) is administered by the SBAM Foundation and made possible through funding from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. It is designed to offer a comprehensive suite of free programming, courses, events, and support tailored specifically for established businesses.
Walsh College will be offering a wide range of bootcamps, workshops, networking events, and other resources through the SBSH Grant Program. Some of the topics for small business programing include:
- Tech-enabled Marketing Strategies
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Business
- Leadership and Management Development
- Finance and Accounting for Business Growth
- Human Resources; Controlling Healthcare Benefit Costs
- Sales Strategy and Sales Improvement
- Cybersecurity and Information Technology
- Economic Trends from the Fed for Small Business
- Business Growth via Technology Licensing and M&A
- Lawyer in Residence for Business Support
- CFO Mastermind and CEO Roundtables/Mentorships

To qualify for the SBSH Grant Program, businesses must:
- Be registered as a for-profit business
- Have fewer than 500 employees
- Operate with a physical presence in Michigan
The program is designed to be accessible to a wide audience including social and economically disadvantaged individuals and those disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, more than 95% of applicants meet or exceed program admission requirements.
