Please note that this database is dynamic; we are constantly updating course equivalency data. If you do not see a course/credits or a transfer institution that you are looking for listed, please contact us at admissions@walshcollege.edu or call 248-823-1600. Providing a course syllabus will expediate the equivalency review process.

Course equivalencies are listed by each transfer institution with other equivalencies listed with the institutions below:

  • Advanced Placement (AP) and CLEP credits: The College Board AP/CLEP
  • Industry specific/other certifications and other approved extra-institutional credits:  Extra Institutional Credit
  • Military credits: American Council on Education (ACE)

Transfer guides provide a seamless pathway to help you plan your transfer courses and credits. Click on your school below. If you do not see your transfer school listed, use the “Any School” transfer guide to fill in your courses! An articulation agreement is not required for credits to transfer to Walsh. Michigan Transfer Network and Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA)

Walsh is a member of the Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (MACRAO) and Michigan Independent Colleges and Universities (MICU) and participates in the MiTransfer Pathways associate to bachelor’s transfer business pathway articulation agreement, the Michigan Transfer Network (MTN) statewide transfer equivalency database, and the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA). The MTA is not required for Walsh and any coursework satisfying MTA will transfer as general education credits. Visit www.mitransfer.org or contact admissions@walshcollege.edu for more information.

Admission and Transfer Requirements

For consideration for admission to a Walsh Bachelor of AccountancyBachelor of Business Administration, or Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program, an applicant must have:

  • An associate degree OR 60 semester credit hours completed at the 100/1000 level or above with a grade of “C” (2.000) or better and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000 on a 4.000 scale from all prior institutions attended

For consideration for admission to a Walsh Bachelor of Science in Applied Management degree program, an applicant must have:

  • An associate of applied science degree (AAS) AND a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000 on a 4.000 scale from all prior institutions attended
  • An evaluation of transcripts from all prior institutions is completed to include verification of minimum admission requirements and transfer of credit

All academic coursework considered for use in meeting admissions requirements or for use in establishing direct equivalent transfer credit must be from a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and U.S. Department of Education (USDE), www.chea.org. Credits completed outside of the United States must be evaluated by an agency that is a member of NACES (www.naces.org).
