Work Smarter With Tutoring Services

We strive to ensure students have the resources needed to get ahead academically and professionally. Group and individual tutoring as well as special topic seminars are available in a variety of subjects.

Tutoring Labs are weekly meetings where students can drop in and get help from an instructor on a topic or specific assignment. The Walsh Pearson tutoring labs are available at no cost to students as they are funded by a grant from Richard Pearson. These drop-in sessions can be found in Navigate. Click here to log into Navigate and then select Appointments > Schedule an Appointment > View Drop-in Times.

Students have the option to meet for 1 hour per week per course with a private tutor free of charge for certain Walsh courses. Tutoring availability and appointment scheduling can be found in the Navigate Student App. Click here to log into Navigate and then select Appointments > Schedule an Appointment > Tutoring.

All students choosing this option are responsible for following the Private Tutor Guidelines.

If the course you are looking for is not listed in Navigate, please e-mail Tutoring Services for other resources at

While not every course will have an available tutor, there are additional resources available. Students are encouraged to utilize Navigate’s Study Buddies feature that allows a student to connect with other students in their class sections who are interested in studying together outside of class.

Tips for Success

  • Plan your assignments at the beginning of the semester.
  • Begin visiting tutors early.
  • Plan ahead: Tutors may not be available on the day of an exam or an assignment’s deadline.
  • Be consistent

In an effort to provide continued tutoring resources during the campus closure, Walsh is providing one-on-one tutoring to students remotely via Zoom.

All students have a Zoom account. If you need assistance with Zoom, please contact the Walsh HelpDesk or you may also contact Zoom support directly.
