As part of Walsh College’s ongoing commitment to support students in maximizing the return on their educational investment, we are excited to offer the Annual Donor Scholarship Application! This streamlined application enables applicants to be considered for all scholarship opportunities for which they are eligible. We sincerely thank our generous donors who make these scholarships possible!
In addition to the obvious financial benefit, receiving a scholarship is also an important academic accolade which may be noted in the career development process, such as including scholarships on your resume.
We hope YOU choose to participate!
Please read the following prior to submitting your application:
- Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students are eligible to submit one (1) application per academic year.
- Multiple donor scholarships require Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion. To receive the fullest consideration for all scholarship opportunities, it is strongly recommended that eligible students (US Citizens and Permanent Residents) complete a FAFSA here if they have not already done so.
- Award amounts vary depending on the scholarship but may be up to $10,000.
- Priority dates and deadlines for application submission are noted here.
- Students already receiving Walsh College funding, such as the undergraduate Academic Excellence Award, are eligible to apply. To provide opportunity to as many students as possible, those not already receiving Walsh funding will be given priority consideration.
- Applicants selected to receive a donor scholarship will receive a scholarship offer notification email from Financial Aid. Every effort will be made to send scholarship notifications by the end of the first week of the semester.
- Selected applicants will be required to complete an online Scholarship Response Form, including writing a thank you letter to the donor within 2 weeks of notification.
- Applicants who do not receive a scholarship offer will remain in consideration for the following semester(s). For this reason, rejection notices will not be sent.
- The number of qualified applicants for scholarships may be greater than available funding; not all qualified applicants will receive a scholarship offer.
- The decisions of the scholarship committee are final.
