Dear Campus Community,
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for each of you and for the many ways you contribute to the continued growth, innovation, and heart of our college community. Thanksgiving offers us a special opportunity to reflect upon all that we’ve accomplished together and how we’ve learned with and from each other along the way.
This year, I am especially grateful for three areas of exciting growth and collaboration that highlight who we are becoming as a campus community:
- Our Expanding Global Reach: This year marked a transformative step in Walsh College’s journey as our programs in the UAE and India continue to flourish, bringing new perspectives, partnerships, and energy to our classrooms and communities. The richness of this cultural exchange and the depth of global dialogue that now shapes our courses, research, and collaborations are helping our students and faculty see business, technology, and leadership through a truly international lens. These programs expand our reach and strengthen our mission to prepare global leaders who can thrive anywhere in the world.
- The Growth of Our Doctoral Programs and Research Excellence: Our doctoral community continues to grow both in size and in vision. We’ve seen a significant increase in students pursuing research focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and exploring how this transformative field can shape the future of business. The passion and rigor our doctoral students bring to their dissertations are contributing meaningfully to these conversations on a global scale, and their work reflects the forward-looking spirit that defines Walsh College.
- The Power of Collaboration and Strategic Focus: Across every department and division, we’ve come together in inspiring ways, through cross-campus strategy sessions, collaborative working groups, and open forums that bring forward ideas to strengthen the student journey and advance our mission. These conversations are shaping the next chapter of Walsh College, grounded in strategic thinking, innovation, and shared purpose. Equally important, we have continued to build a foundation of financial strength and sustainability to ensure we continue to thrive in an ever-changing and challenging higher education landscape. Together, we’ve demonstrated that resilience and adaptability are among Walsh College’s greatest assets.
