Walsh Online Master of Science in Finance One of Top in US
Walsh’s online Master of Science in Finance (MSF) has been named one of the best in the country by thebestschools.org. Other schools receiving this distinction included Harvard, Georgetown, Columbia University, Boston University and others across the country.
Thebestschools.org evaluated all accredited online MSF programs in the U.S. and ranked the top 28 in the nation. Ranking factors included academic excellence, strength of faculty, reputation, financial aid and strength of online instruction methodology.
“We are proud to be recognized for our MSF,” said John Moore, Ph.D, CPA, professor and chair of Walsh’s finance department. “This program combines academic theory and practical application to prepare students for successful careers, and faculty are able to provide the same personal attention in our online settings that we do in classes taught on ground.”
Walsh was an early adopter of online education, offering its first online course in 1998 and is frequently recognized for excellence in online education. Other distinctions have included international recognition of the Walsh MBA as well as having one of the best online MBAs in the U.S..
