This informative session, facilitated by Detroit Disability Power, is designed for staff and faculty to better understand our community of students with disabilities and how we can assist them. Topics will include:

– Confidentiality on accommodations: disclosure, FERPA and unconscious bias
– Ways to discuss disabilities when working with students with disabilities
– Strategies to reduce anxiety for students with disabilities
