Elevate Your Pitch: Last-Minute Practice for Fall Career Fair Success
Wednesday, September 11, 2024 | 3 – 4 p.m. | Walsh College Barry Center
Join us for an interactive networking event on September 11th, from 3 – 4 p.m., in preparation of and leading up to our Fall Career Fair! This speed elevator pitch session is designed for students, alumni, and community college students to refine their pitches. It’s a perfect opportunity to practice and gain confidence before meeting with employers at the Fall Career Fair.
The speed elevator pitch session will be facilitated by Klementina (Tina) X. Sula who teaches networking to students in the Program in International and Comparative Studies at the University of Michigan. She helps students articulate and activate their life’s purpose to achieve their goals and aspirations. She is also a philanthropic advisor and fundraiser at the Jewish Federation of Detroit. She helps donors find meaning in their life through their giving by connecting them to opportunities to make a difference in the Jewish community as well as the global community.
She has also worked at Henry Ford Health, leading fundraising efforts at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, and at the University of Michigan’s College of LSA, where she spearheaded the College Connections Programs as well as the International Giving and Engagement Program. Other experiences include working for the US Embassy in Khyiv, Ukraine, the United States Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, the Club de Madrid in Madrid, Spain, and for the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C.
Recently, working with the University of Michigan’s Center for Academic Innovation, she launched a free online course on Coursera called How to Network: Leading Yourself to Lead Others to make the content she shares in her residential course available to a global audience.
