Suzy Siegle, President and CEO of Walsh College, joins the Troy Chamber Podcast, “Members on the Mic”, where she sits down to discuss the importance of leadership and team building.
According to Suzy, attitude and mindset are the two main factors that create successful leadership in the world today. “It’s about what you believe about yourself and others”, she explains. “It’s about building a team that has different perspectives than you, and meeting people where they are”.
Suzy goes on to explain that Walsh faculty also lead differently. Some schools are more research-based, but Walsh utilizes real-life applications taught by industry professionals to teach business and technology skills for the real world. This ensures that students develop the tools needed to hit the ground running.
