For consideration for admission to a Walsh Bachelor of Accountancy, Bachelor of Business Administration, or Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program, an applicant must have:

  • An associate degree OR 60 semester credit hours completed at the 100/1000 level or above with a grade of “C” (2.000) or better and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000 on a 4.000 scale from all prior institutions attended

All academic coursework considered for use in meeting admissions requirements or for use in establishing direct equivalent transfer credit must be from a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and U.S. Department of Education (USDE), www.chea.org. Credits completed outside of the United States must be evaluated by an agency that is a member of NACES (www.naces.org).

A management education, coupled with specialized or technical skills, creates the best opportunity for future growth and employment. The market for management jobs in the fields of telecommunications, product development, employee benefits, and managed care has a positive outlook. The market for managers in personnel, labor relations, and property and real estate management are expected to remain competitive. Employment of management positions is projected to grow 11% through 2022.

Management salaries vary greatly depending on company size and level of responsibility. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the average starting salary range for bachelor’s degree candidates is $50,000. Annual compensation for employees with six years or more of experience ranges from $54,000 to $80,000.
